Social Emotional Support

A NOTE FROM TOPEKA'S PSW MRS. M

Dear Parents and Guardians of Topeka,

Our PSW Mrs. M would like to share some resources from School Mental Health to help support students, staff and parents regarding the recent fires. Please see the LAUSD's Psychological First Aid and the National Child Traumatic Stress Network's Parent Guidelines for Helping Children Impacted by Wildfires below. Additional resources can be found via this link: Helping Children After A Wildfire: Tips for Caregivers and Teachers

Please use as you need to during this time. If your student requires additional support, please feel free to email Mrs. M at [email protected].
