A NOTE FROM TOPEKA'S PSW MRS. M - APRIL SEL WELLNESS CALENDAR

Dear Topeka Parents:

As we step into April, I’m excited to share this month’s SEL Wellness Calendar, focusing on Stress Awareness. With spring break in the middle of the month, it’s the perfect time to encourage healthy stress management strategies for both our students and ourselves.

This month’s calendar includes simple daily videos to promote mindfulness, resilience, and self-care. Whether it’s breathing exercises, gratitude practices, or movement breaks, these small moments can make a big impact.

Please take a moment to review the calendar and incorporate the videos and activities that fit your family schedule.

Let me know if you have any questions or need additional resources. 😊

Best,
Mrs. M ❤

Additional Spring Break Mental Health Resources

Please see below for a Spring Break Activity Book designed to support students’ mental health and well-being while they’re away from school. It includes fun and simple activities that focus on relaxation, connection, and self-care – all great ways to help students recharge over the break.

Thank you for all you do to support our students. I’m wishing you all a restful and relaxing break.

Take good care,
Mrs. M ❤
