COOL STATS
- As of today, 30% of all students have registered, it’s not too late to register and share! Sharing really helps, 108 students have shared their fundraising pages and have raised $28,825!
- We have 69 families that have registered but have not shared or donated, imagine the donations that could be received if you just send to just 3 to 5 family and friends – they love to see kids helping their school and the feeling they get knowing they’re investing in your student’s education. If you share, donations will come, if 5 of your family and friends donate just $15 each, that’s $75 on behalf of each of your children!

WHAT IS TIGER FUND?
The TIGER FUND is Topeka Drive Charter’s “direct ask” donation program run by the Topeka Drive PTA. Families are asked to make a donation in any dollar amount to the TIGER FUND, and 100% of that donation will remain at Topeka. Historically, the PTA has been a major contributor to many of the programs and services that make Topeka a rewarding educational experience for our students. And, it's tax deductible!

PROGRAM DESCRIPTIONS
ENRICHED MINDS – Enriched Minds is a new STEAM program that Topeka Drive PTA is bringing to our school this year. It provides a hands-on, fun learning approach to a year-long, all science curriculum for ALL of Topeka’s students. With Enriched Minds, students will learn about water & climate, earth systems, motion & matter, and so much more!
GARDEN RANGER PROGRAM - Garden Ranger from EnrichLA provides a trained Ranger that will maintain Topeka’s garden space and provide a STEM-based curriculum to students on topics such as nutrition, environmental stability and the importance of pollinators.
STEAM-BASED PROGRAMS - When LAUSD cannot provide resources in these areas, our PTA funding helps cover valued programs such as Scholastic Reader, BrainPop, IXL, and Accelerated Reader programs. Our Science Lab is open and ready for use so that we can empower our young scientists with the opportunity to learn, explore and develop a love for science.
PSYCHOMOTOR (PE) - Psychomotor is an exercise program in which students participate in a variety of activities that promote health through exercise. Certified staff from the YMCA lead psychomotor with our students.
TIGER FUND DONATIONS ARE TAX DEDUCTIBLE
Your tax deductible TIGER FUND donation raises funds to support these essential services. Without your financial assistance, these programs will be lost.
Many companies offer a direct match program, so be sure to check with your HR department.

TIGER FUND FAQ'S
Why is Topeka using an online fundraising platform?
- Fund Hub enables Topeka to easily expand our reach beyond our local families. In previous years we raised $45,000 (on average) right here in our community! Since moving the fundraiser to an online platform, we have been able to increase the funds raised and as a result, we have been able to significantly increase the amount of programs we bring to Topeka for the betterment of all of our students.
Why should I donate if family and friends already have?
- Donations from Topeka's own are essential to helping us reach our goal! Being supported by extended family and friends is a bonus!
I don't know what to write when I share my child's page on my social media - can you give me some tips?
- Hi FB Fam & Friends! The 25-26 school year is in full swing! Please consider making a donation to our neighborhood school and help fund programs and services that are critical to a truly special educational experience! Go Tigers!
- There’s still time to donate!!! Any dollar amount is greatly appreciated! Our school still needs funding for several programs we offer on campus such as our Garden Ranger Program, Enriched Minds, and so much more!
I want to register/create a webpage for multiple children - how do I do that?
- Once you register your first child, you will need to click the button "add student" in the upper right hand corner of your parent dashboard.
Will all of my children get credit if I make one donation?
- Yes! Whatever is donated to your family page will be evenly split between all of your children.
I don't want to pay the 15% donor fee that the Fund Hub platform charges - is there another way to donate?
- Yes! You can submit a paper pledge form along with cash or check (made payable to Topeka Drive PTA) to the main office. Look for the blue Tiger Fund Drive box on the counter.
- You can also pay via PayPal. Email [email protected] for link and to ensure your donation is credited to your child and classroom.
Can I make a donation via monthly installments?
