HIGHLIGHTS FROM GREEN WEEK
Topeka celebrated Earth Day for an entire week in April! Topeka Drive PTA organized a week full of green activities for our students, including: Walk to School Day, Beautification Day and No Trash Day. Teachers, parents and students joined in the fun and participated in all the activities and learned all about conservation of our planet. Green Week culminated with the Recycled Art Exhibit on Friday, in which over 20 students participated and submitted artwork created with recycled materials!
HIGHLIGHTS FROM THE RECYCLED ART CONTEST
Green Week ended with a wonderful Recycled Art Exhibit in the Science Lab. Topeka Drive Elementary students were invited to participate in a Recycled Art Contest! It was a fun opportunity for students to showcase their creativity while promoting sustainability by turning trash into treasure. Prizes were awarded to the top 4 students with the most creative and outstanding works of art. Congrats to all who participated!
TIGER TROT HIGHLIGHTS
Topeka’s Annual fundraiser Tiger Trot took place on Friday, April 4th. All students participated in this exciting Topeka Drive PTA fundraiser in support of our Psychomotor program, promoting health and physical fitness in our community. Our very own Tiger mascot cheered on the students as they made their way around the track to complete their laps. After each grade level completed their turn, students were awarded with popsicles before returning to class. Go Topeka Tigers!

Parents! The PTA's next Dine-Out is at Menchie's for 10 Days! This is a Spring Break Fundraiser. Families will receive a 20% discount AND Menchie's will make a 20% donation to the school!
