After School Program: Self-Defense Class

Hello Fourth and Fifth Grade Parents!

I know we are all busy preparing for the holidays, but I wanted to let you know about a valuable afterschool personal safety program that is scheduled to begin the week of January 13, 2025, here at Topeka.

As parents, we have concerns about our children’s abilities to make good decisions that promote their safety and well-being, and this class is a way to provide them with personal safety skills and strategies for middle school and beyond, as they seek to do more things on their own.

It will be taught by Jonathan Manahan, who is a retired Federal Law Enforcement Officer.

Please review the attached flyer and enroll via the Google form at your earliest convenience so that we can have the classes organized before the end of 2024. You can send the payment in January or on installments.

If you have any other questions, please feel free to reach out to Jonathan Manahan of Insight Personal Safety LLC. Thank you for taking an interest in your child’s personal safety.
